In November we went on a short western cape tour and during that trip we stopped at the West Coast National Park for some images. This video just showcases a few images I took during this stop of @Senzi_M and @Thobi_Rose.
I’m sorry for the audio quality. The wind was a little over powering and didn’t allow me do an outro.
The West Coast National Park is beautiful and I wish we had more time to explore it. The entrance is R65 per person and there are designated braai areas should you wish to do so. The park is just 120km north of Cape Town and it is 36,259.8 hectares. Should you find yourself in the area during August and September I’d advise pulling in to experience one of the parks key features which is the blossoming of the flowers in the area.
I mostly enjoyed the sound of the ocean, the wind blowing (even though it got a bit much) and just the silence the area offered. Maybe the quietness is attributed to the current pandemic but personally I enjoyed it.
I hope you enjoyed watching this video. I enjoyed editing it more than anything because of the sound of the ocean and the dominant blues in video and images. Most importantly editing this left me feeling relaxed surprisingly. Perhaps its because I haven’t edited and uploaded any of my video’s in a while lol.
Gear used:
For these images I used the Canon 5D MK 4 with the 24-70mm f/2.8 lens and for the behind the scenes and the vlogging section I used the DJI Osmo Action Camera.
Special thanks to Senzi and Neo for assisting me with the BTS shots.
